Valleypoint Campsite: Glamping in Tuba Benguet

by Rizanoia

It is no secret that I and my boyfriend Brye love to travel. In fact, we have been to so many different destinations over the years, and they have all allowed us to grow into the person that we are today. While most of our travel has been to major cities or some of the ‘everyone must-go-there’ places, we still do enjoy finding little out of the way areas to unwind. And as I was searching for a unique place to go for a vacation, I stumbled upon Valleypoint Campsite in Tuba, Benguet.

The area is filled with natural beauty and tranquility, which is what I felt like I needed at that point in my life. After all, my days and nights are so busy sometimes, and it is nice to take a break from it all when I can!

While we could have stayed at a traditional hotel in Benguet, I chose to step outside my comfort zone a little when I discovered Valleypoint Campsite. I was intrigued by the fact that I could camp without giving up all the little luxuries that I love!

ACCOMMODATION

Our tent was very warm and cozy and has a thick mattress to sleep on, a warm blanket and pillow, storage to place our clothes and other items. The tents are very close to the bathroom and I was happy to see that there was both cold and hot water for shower. I have heard horror stories in the past about bathrooms at campsites, so I was quite happy to see that it was clean and not scary at all.

CAMPER’S AREA

I also love their indoor campers’ area that has full of books and games. I also met new people during my stay and it was great to hear about their travel experiences, as we played a board game at the same time.

RESTAURANT AND BAR

In the morning, we head over to the on-site restaurant and bar. The décor was rustic yet elegant in its own way and it was an excellent place to sit and relax with a drink and a bite to eat. I loved that everything was affordable too!

We enjoyed drinking our unlimited brewed coffee and indulge in our free breakfast while enjoying the overlooking and beautiful view outside the restobar.

For those who want to have a unique glamping experience without giving up all the little luxuries that you love, Valleypoint Campsite must be in your list. Food will also not be a problem because the meals we ordered were delicious and affordable. Also, you will surely love the fog and clouds moving in and out the campsite. The experience is almost similar to the sea of clouds at the top of the mountain.
