Nothing beats good booze, awesome company and a beautiful beach. If you’re looking for comfy sands, a breath taking view and crystal clear seas, then Tondol Beach Anda Pangasinan got you covered.
My friends and I decided to unwind to this lesser-known gem of the north last April. Going there was easy-peezy because we rented a private van to take care of the trip. This, along with a driver with a good sense of humor and a killer playlist made the journey even more fun (seriously, props to sir Rex).

TONDOL BEACH ACCOMMODATION
A week before the trip, we made prior reservations for a room in Gems resort. We initially thought that everything was ironed out due to the three confirmations made via call. Unfortunately, the P3,000 room that we rented for 8 people had extra charges but we decided to push through anyway (actually, they never mentioned that the room had a maximum head count even though we stated that we might bring 1 or 2 more people in).
Where to Stay in Tondol Beach Anda Pangasinan?
Average Accommodation Rate
Tent Pitching – 200 PHP per head overnight
Cottage – 200 to 500 PHP
Room – 3,500 above
Upon arriving to Tondol, our jaws dropped with the alluring beauty of this Pangasinan escapade. The first thing we noticed was how pristine the beach is. Add this to the fact that Anda’s sandbars are long and wide turning it into an instant Instagram-junkie’s paradise. You can definitely have fun with your family or barkadas.
The azure waters of this beach is really clean but they’re too shallow if you’re near the shoreline. This means heavy swimmers like me and my friends had to walk first before we can have a refreshing dip. This led to some unique photo opportunities that can’t be done in other beaches.
Also, some natives are offering “island hopping” services. Though it was only P100 and the sights were amazeballs, I wouldn’t personally recommend it. It should’ve been called an “island hop service” instead because the boatman only took us to one destination (you read that right, ONE!).
With regards to food, my gang decided that we should cook our own meals. Good thing 828 Gems resort was gracious enough to lend us cooking utensils. That meant more grilled liempo and sinigang for everyone (courtesy of yours truly).
Of course, we decided to cap the first night off with some alcohol. There are a lot of stores in Anda so don’t worry if you’re thirsty or short on supplies.
For the second day, we just decided to chill around the beach area. Fortunately, the waters were a bit higher so we managed to fool around, swim a bit and take more pictures before packing our stuff.
ACTIVITY
- Picture taking at Anda Bridge. Pero ingat bes sa mga dumadaang sasakyan.
- Island Tour at Cory Island – 1,000 PHP per boat.

TIPS
- Leave as early as 12 midnight from Manila to witness and experience the mini sandbar which starts at 9 in the morning.
- Before heading to the beach, buy ingredients to cook during your stay.
All in all, Tondol Beach Anda Pangasinan is a one-of-a-kind experience that me and my friends enjoyed. A few hiccups here and there might have happened but it was all worth it. Give it a shot and escape from the metro’s hustle and bustle this summer.

Mas lighter sa Tambobong. 🙂
Hello! My family’s planning to go there this weekend but we are kinda hesitant because we might not be able to enjoy swimming because the water is not that deep. Are there areas where it is deep enough for us to swim?
Hi Steph. Yes, water level was not deep even we walked too far from the shore. But we still enjoyed our visit there.
