If Inflatable Island is in your travel bucket list and you’re a Hello Kitty fan this is the perfect time to cross it out! As I discovered about its newest attraction, Sanrio Float Town, I asked my boyfriend to go with me and experience the Hello Kitty craze as one of my favorite childhood cartoon characters!
The Inflatable Island’s makeover is also part of Hello Kitty’s 45th Birthday on November 1. Of course, the celebration won’t be complete without the Sanrio friends My Melody, Kero-Keroppi, the Little Twin Stars and Gudetama.
The Biggest Gudetama in the World
Upon entering the island, you will quickly notice this huge Gudetama together with other small Gudetama eggs laying over the sand that looks so lazy, but you can’t stop yourself taking pictures with them because of their cuteness!
Inflatable Island is located in Samba Beach where the sand is gray and the water is clean and greenish-blue in color. It seems that cleanliness is well maintained. So please, for everyone to fully enjoy the beach please throw your trash properly. There are lots of trash bins that are just few steps away.
Sanrio Float Town
Generally speaking, the best time to play here is in the morning or late in the afternoon, or when the sun is not that too harsh. It will be also much fun to play with your friends as you try each and every obstacle. If you think it’s too hard for you, don’t worry because there are lifeguards willing to help you to make your experience fun and enjoyable. And if you’re a thrill-seeker, you should definitely try out the vortex.
Sunflower Bed Lounge
After getting tired playing, you can rest over the sunflower or Bali lounge while waiting for the sunset.
Even I don’t know how to swim and not good at balancing, I still enjoyed playing in this biggest floating playground in Asia. Lifeguards are so helpful to kids and adults passing over every obstacle or even if you just want to take photos. Beach, shower area, and other facilities are kept clean even before we leave.
For safety, wear rash guard, aqua shoes and life vest. Don’t also forget to bring a waterproof camera to capture those fun moments! Lastly, Inflatable Island is best to enjoy during weekdays.
Since you can only enjoy Sanrio Float Town until January 2020, it is recommended to plan this trip ahead and book online!
