Caffe Nativo: An All Day Breakfast Cafe in Tagaytay

by Rizanoia

As much as possible we want to fully enjoy our weekend staycation by not doing the normal household routines such as cooking. Luckily, one of the perks of booking an overnight stay at Nordic Homes Tagaytay is free breakfast at Caffe Nativo. This local cafe is just outside the Tagaytay Prime Residences so there is no need to drive or ride a vehicle.

About the Cafe

The owners of this local cafe used to work in a coffee shop over in Dubai, but when they found out they were expecting their first child, they moved back to Tagaytay, which is where they were originally from. They knew that it would be difficult to raise their child and start a new business at the same time, but that didn’t stop them from opening Caffe Nativo. They managed to create a restaurant that serves delicious local coffee and amazing food while providing extraordinary customer service at the same time.

Caffe Nativo is a unique restaurant in Tagaytay City and people are always in awe at the moment that they walk inside. The theme is quite unconventional where the ceiling and the walls have characters and images painted on them. Amongst all those images, there are phrases written in calligraphy. This restaurant has plenty of space even during its busier times.

Everyone will surely find a fabulous cup of local coffee at Caffe Nativo, even if they prefer lattes, mochas, caramels, or dark mochas. Of course, if coffee isn’t a person’s cup of tea, they can order other beverages including tea, milkshakes, soda, juice, or water.

Caffe Nativo serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast, many people will choose the tapsilog or the cornsilog, however, those who are not too sure of those can order French toast or the hearty American breakfast. When it comes to lunch and dinner, guests can choose from soups, sandwiches, and pasta. The tomato soup may seem basic, but it is smooth and creamy. Any of their soups pair wonderfully with their sandwiches, especially the grilled cheese and the ham and cheese. Most diners will hold off on ordering pasta until dinnertime, and everyone will have a difficult time choosing between the chicken pesto, mushroom, Bolognese, and Caffe Nativo’s very popular carbonara.

Of course, the most important part of almost every meal is the dessert. They store their cakes in a glass refrigerator that every diner can see. A few of their many options include Oreo cheesecake, chocolate domecake, blueberry cake, redvelvet crinkles, and chocolate campfire cake. The most popular of them all is the redvelvet crinkles and people have been known to stop in just to grab a couple to take home.
