Tagaytay is a favorite destination for city dwellers and also a popular destination for anyone who wants a quick escape from the busy, traffic-ridden streets of Metro Manila. When you’re trying to unwind after a long, hard week, it doesn’t hurt to hit up a few of your local bars to take your mind off work and stress.
ABOUT CABANAS DINE AND BAR
Along the arrays of food joints in Tagaytay City lies a tropical themed restaurant called Cabanas Dine and Bar. This restaurant is situated at the edge of the upland which overlooks the iconic Taal Lake and Volcano. The walls are painted with murals bursting in summer shades and the few palm trees lined up at the side make a perfect background for your Instagram feed.
It’s a rustic beach-inspired restaurant that serves modern Filipino cuisine. Their working hours are 11:00 am to 2:00 am which makes it the best spots in the town to have lunch with the family at noon thanks to the relaxing view of Taal lake that you can visually enjoy while you are on an exceptional food adventure. Also, it is quite a place to chill and spend happy hour with your group of friends as it opens till late night, surrounding yourself with good music from the live band on Saturday nights with the view of the city below and the fresh air with cold breeze enveloping you throughout the night.
You get a touch of a little tropics in the daytime with a dose of sunshine and fresh air. Whether it’s the lazy weather or the homey ambiance, you will always find this restaurant relaxing. The atmosphere here is stunning. At Cabanas Dine and Bar the first thing you will notice is the cool beautiful weather, an Instagram worthy interior, chill ambiance, cozy atmosphere, hip, and romantic atmosphere and breathtaking scenic views of the Taal Volcano.
After having a great and chilling dinner with family and friends and satisfying yourselves with the scenic views and refreshing surroundings, a better way to fully complete your getaway is to eat and choose from the mouthwatering reasonable price menu at Cabanas Dine and Bar. Make sure to get the feel of Cabanas Dine and Bar by trying their finest bulalo, Bam-I (it’s a noodle that resembles Korean Japchae), a whole fried chicken and for dessert try ginataang halo-halo. And of course their classic cocktails.
The food they serve may be the usual menu of an ordinary Filipino restaurant but their taste and presentation of food here are amazing and the price is surprisingly affordable. They added more flavor to the usual home cooked Filipino dishes.
I recommend visiting Cabanas Dine and Bar if you decide to take an epic food trip. Combining your food experience with a relaxing climate is something you do not want to miss.
If you want to have a fine dining experience in Tagaytay, Cabanas Dine and Bar is the place. They have chilled weather, friendly staffs, good food, and reasonable price menu ranging from 120 to 675 pesos.
