Calling all divers and non-divers! An extraordinary diving experience has been discovered and can be found approximately 3-4 hours away from Manila. Those who enter the water in this area are rewarded with a plethora of marine life inside the magnificent marine protected sanctuary. On this travel guide, I will share about my first scuba diving experience and review about Bus Stop Dive Resort.
ABOUT BUS STOP DIVE RESORT
Bus Stop Dive Resort is situated in San Pablo, Bauan, Batangas. To go here, you need to board a boat to travel to the resort, as there are no other transportation methods available within the marine sanctuary. The boat ride was not that long, as it only takes about ten minutes from the pickup point at Summer Cruise.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Upon arrival, a cold towel was offered that I quickly grabbed and put over my face. Our first afternoon was spent lounging on the tranquil pebbled beach while experiencing the laidback atmosphere of the resort. The diving begins the next day with scuba diving lessons available for those who have no experience going deep down in the water.
ACCOMMODATION
air-conditioned rooms
If you will stay here overnight, there are plenty of options available, with some being more luxurious than others. Guests can choose to stay in a standard room, deluxe room, or squad room, but the more budget conscious may decide that a tent is their best choice. However, those who decide to avail the resort’s diving package will have an air-conditioned room as part of their package.
FOOD
dinner
breakfast
Meals and drinks are also included in the diving packages which are in a boodle fight setting. Everyone in the group loves the fried fish and tinolang manok during our dinner.
DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING EXPERIENCE
diving instructors preparing the scuba diving equipment
The next day was time for us to enter the water for their diving experience of a lifetime. Our diving instructor demonstrated to us how to use the diving apparatus while under the water and made sure that we fully understand the basic things to do before we start diving in. No one was ever alone during this journey, as diving instructors were always present. Each dive only lasts between 20-30 minutes, but the beauty that can be found under the water’s surface is phenomenal.

We saw clownfish, sea snakes, angelfish, and more amongst all the colorful coral. Jane, whose quite lucky find herself in the middle of a school of jacks, while others may find themselves face to face with a dolphin or two.
At the end of our diving session, hot towels were provided to us. We also can’t resist to share and marvel the memories of what we had experienced deep down in the water to those who haven’t tried yet within our group.
The diving packages that are available include numerous dives at different points of a person’s stay at the Bus Stop Dive Resort, and they are spread out so that guests can do other activities in between. Those who want to relax can do so on the beach, while those looking for more action may decide to go back out in the water for some snorkeling.

REVIEW
With so much inclusion at Bus Stop Dive Resort Batangas, it was no surprise that we had a spectacular time during our stay. In fact, we would love to extend even longer when I found out how wonderful the underwater world was! My first scuba diving experience here in Bus Stop Dive Resort is truly unforgettable! I definitely recommend this resort for first-timers and try Discover Scuba Diving here.
