Watsons Olive Hand Cream Review

We all want beautiful hands – they’re the one part of our body we see most often, which is why the hand cream is one of our ultimate handbag must-haves. Rainy season can also be really harsh on our hands and can lead to cracking cuticles, dry skin and gnarliness. On these hand problems let’s see if Watsons Olive Hand Cream will help. I got Watsons Olive Hand Cream from a giveaway I won before.

Product information at the back of the tube stating the caution, storage and ingredients.

Let me give you first some healthy facts about olive. Olives are very beneficial for dry skin, since they enrich it with necessary moisture and smoothen its surface. As for natural olive leaf, it is often viewed as anti-aging agent, immune system stimulator and even antibiotics. It is medically proven that olive leaf extract lowers the blood pressure. Olives are an excellent source of vitamin E, they lower cholesterol level and protect body cells. They stop development of inflammation and heart diseases.

Product Features

Watsons Olive Hand Cream is formulated with European olive oil extracts, a natural moisturizer rich in vitamins and minerals. It prevents skin drying and helps balance the skin’s natural moisture levels to restore skin’s softness. The non-greasy formulation is quickly absorbed, leaving your skin smooth and supple for hours after use.

Price and Availability

I don’t know how much is the exact price of this as like I’ve said I just got this from a giveaway. But based on my research this cost around 70 pesos from any Watsons Personal Care Store.

Packaging

The packaging is simple and matches the color of an olive leaf which is green.

This hand cream comes in a 60 ml handy squeezy tube.

Product Testing

This is how the olive hand cream looks like, it is white and very light.

It looks greasy when applied, but don’t worry after a few seconds the hand cream will be fully absorbed.
Just apply and massage onto hands and along the fingers. For best results, use at least twice a day.
Pros
affordable
handy and very light
smoothen and soften the skin very well
not sticky when fully absorbed
absorbed quickly
small amount will work on two hands
Cons
-I find the smell like a menthol. Not so bad but I’m not a fan of the smell.
Overall
I used this like a regular lotion for my dry hands, elbows, legs and feet. It really works on moisturizing and softening my skin. Very affordable and handy.
Rating
I will give 4/5. The other 1 goes to the not so good menthol scent.

I actually love Olive. But I’ve tried using those organic lotions and just end up itching. So I make sure to use the regular ones, like Jergen’s Ultra Healing cream.. It’s moisturizing properties is superb! Do check it out, if you haven’t yet.

That;s quite affordable for a Watson product. And lucky you, for winning that from a giveaway. πŸ™‚

I don’t really use creams or lotions because of the greasy feel, because I am lazy to do so. Haha. I wish I could get motivated to take care of my skin too.

Does it smell good? I’m loving the Caronia Nourishing Creme, it has a green tea scent but I find it a bit greasy so I just put a small amount.
