Many of you had asked me last year to make a review about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W800. However, I’ve been too busy and I forgot to blog about this. And just recently, a blogger friend gave a positive feedback about the images posted on my blog and asked me what camera that I am using. So before I forgot it again, here are my thoughts about my blogging camera.

Last year, I was looking for a camera that is affordable; high in megapixels and zooming capability; has front and back camera; and has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection. However those with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection are pricey already. Or if it has front and back camera the megapixels is just ranging 15 MP. So when I saw Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W800 I bought it right away because that’s the only camera I saw that fits on my budget and has good qualities.

A. If the screen is displaying a blur image here are the two helpful tips on shooting still images:
1. Press the shutter button halfway down to focus.
2. Press the shutter button fully down to an image.
B. Good lighting
1. Take photos that has a natural light coming from the sun
A high quality camera is not enough. If you are shooting an image without enough light and if you will just depend on the flash the result will not be good. Some part of the image will just look too bright because of the flash. After realizing this, I prefer to take photos on a place that has a natural light coming from the sun. I just use the flash at night if I don’t have other free time.
2. Take photos using a light box
Shooting an image under a natural light and with a flash has a huge difference. So this year I’m planning to have a light box that I can use to capture better image. In the meantime, I just recently bought a clip-on lamp so I can take photos at night without using a camera flash.
If you are planning to or just starting on blogging, I hope these simple tips and thoughts about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W800 help you.
