Phytomax Pulse Monitor

If you’re on a medical field you can easily relate to this book – the Philippine Pharmaceutical Directory also known as PPD. PPD is a drug directory used by the doctors on-the-go, medical and other healthcare students and interns, and people who value their health. It’s also a directory of medical devices and supplies.

And let me introduce to you one of the newest medical device that is included in PPD – the Phytomax Pulse Monitor.
Phytomax Pulse Monitor is in a hard water tight casing.

PhytoMax Pulse Monitor predicts the progression of atherosclerosis and blood circulation by determining the condition of the cardiovascular Health.

It evaluates the level of physical and mental condition and stress coping ability.
It also assesses the status of the autonomic nervous system and the balance of its two branches: the sympathetic nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system.

After 3 minutes you can already get the result.

Situations in which this should not be used or it’s contraindications are those clients diagnosed with arrhythmia and those with pacemaker implants. The test is applicable only to patients 18 years old and above.

The PhytoMax Pulse Monitor is owned by PhytoPharma Inc.. I think the machine cost around half a million. However, the PhytoMax Test itself is worth P300 (Three Hundred Pesos) only.

This machine looks really efficient. How many times can we use it though? For PHp 300, I think it’s very much worth the price.

  2. Lilibeth Torres says:

That would be useful to those who want to monitor their health status. I think it’s AUTONOMIC, not automatic nervous system, isn’t it? 🙂

  3. Pehpot Pineda says:

I was expecting the price to be 1k or more (PhP), 300 is really cheap for a medical device like this one. Other than this, what other medical devices each home should have?

  4. Pehpot Pineda says:

aww sorry selective reading haha I missed the part that says “However, the PhytoMax Test itself is worth” anyways, back to my question, what are medical devices (that are affordable! LOL) the one should own?

  5. Riza Acebuche says:

PhytoPharma Inc. also has SA-3000 PhytoMax Monitor which is much bigger and gives more detailed result. The machine is for hospital based, PHILIPPINE ARMY GENERAL HOSPITAL (PAGH) acquired this last June 2013. Did I answer your question? hehe

  6. Pehpot Pineda says:

was on the concept that the machine is “homebased” LOL the reason why I asked what other devices (other medical devices that you can recommend) that one should own haha
